You Can Finally Get McDonald’s Iconic Big Arch Burger in the United States
The cult-favorite international burger is making its way stateside in March.
Every menu is slightly different, but the vibes inside the restaurant are distinctly American. One of the biggest gripes about being a Mickey D’s fan is that so many delicious menu items are only available outside of the U.S. For example, did you know you can order McSpaghetti in the Philippines? Or that you can get breakfast poutine at McDonald’s in Canada?
For years, fans in the states have begged for one iconic international burger to be released here. And the Golden Arches have finally McAnswered our McPlea: The McDonald’s Big Arch Burger is finally coming to the States.
What is McDonald’s Big Arch Burger?
It’s kind of funny that this burger has only previously been available outside of the United States, because it really feels like the quintessential McDonald’s burger. Firstly, it lives up to its name: It’s big! The Big Arch Burger is assembled with:
- Two quarter-pound beef patties
- Three slices of white cheddar cheese
- Crispy and slivered onions
- Shredded lettuce
- Pickles
- Toasted sesame and poppy seed buns
- Big Arch Sauce
The Big Arch Sauce might look similar to the classic “special sauce” that’s served on Big Macs, but it’s totally new. McDonald’s describes it as “a tangy, creamy sauce with a perfect balance of mustard, pickle and sweet tomato flavors.” Just writing about this sauce is making my mouth water.
When will the Big Arch Burger be available?
McDonald’s is releasing the Big Arch Burger at participating locations nationwide beginning March 3. It’s only available for a limited time, so if you want to get a taste of this international fave, head to your local McDonald’s during the first week of March. If you like it, you’ll have plenty of time to go back for seconds.
